This website is the result of more than thirty years of travel to the Galápagos with student groups, beginning with my first trip in 1989. Early in this experience I created a website, “galapagos@rit, hosted by my university, the Rochester Institute of Technology. About midway through those years, I began working on my Paradise for Reptiles project. Squeezing researching and writing into a heavy teaching load, I necessarily had to let the website lie fallow for a long time. Now that “Paradise” is complete I am turning to the website. The first step is to migrate the site from RIT to WordPress. Then I will edit, update and add new material according to the cladogram below:
